May 12 was Miao minority groups traditional festival - Siyueba Festival (according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar). On May 11, thousands of Miao people in the formal national dress celebrated the annual traditional festival with singing and dancing in Gaopo, Huaxi district, Guiyang city, Chinas Guizhou Province. Siyueba Festival is in order to commemorate Ya Nu, an ancient hero of Miao nationality, so it is also called "Ya Nu Festival".
